Formula 1 2010 Season Preview

Formula one season of 2010 was underway few weeks ago and it’s looking exciting than ever. This season there are not 1 or 2 who can win the championship there about 4 to 5 people with a chance to grab the glory. I feel the championship will be decided in the last race it is that tense and close this year. It looks like we are going to see a very tough to predict and exciting season of Formula 1. The new teams and the new drivers are surely going to make it exciting along with the return of the maistro Schumacher.

There are exciting thinds to look at but there is also a downside into this as there are 12 teams but only 4 engines, which means teams are sharing engines. Teams should really have their own engine to enjoy any victory, for example if BMW wins the race the credit goes to Ferrari as they using Ferrari’s engine. In this year’s Formula 1 Cosworth has 8 cars using Cosworth Engine, Mercedes has 6 along with Ferrari and Renault has 4 cars.

The idea is to definitely introduce more car companies, who produces their own engine such as Toyota. There is definitely room for new Audi cars. Ford and Volkswagen would be a great addition to Formula one if they are interested. It might expensive but they will receive far better publicity and to be honest I am sure Audi, Ford and Volkswagen can afford it. FIA should really make an effort to get more car companies to participate in Formula 1, it will great for the future of the sports and it will spread it’s audience even wider. Just imagine how exciting it will be if the teams have their own engines.

If they can build fast cars such as Audi R8, Audi Q5, Audi A4 Saloon, Ford GT, Bugatti Veyron (owned by Volkswagen) and others they can surely afford to build a Formula 1 car. What are your thoughts? Do you think these cars whould be a part of F1 or not? Do you agree with my suggestion of the teams having their own engine? I look forward to your replies.
